Hello!
My Name is Ulla and I'm the founder and person behind Linsbacka Ceramics. Here I get to create myself, but also teach and share knowledge with other interested artists and curious minds. There are courses and master classes arranged every spring and fall and if that is something you feel interested in, please feel free to use the contact form and contact me for more information. I'm also the president of Gnesta Art Association and a big part of all our arrangements throughout the year. Feel free to read my blog to follow what is happening in the local art scene around Gnesta and my own process and progression.
My work
I've always felt inspired by nature and my surrundings. Being outdoors is where I charge my energy and that makes it feel natural to work with shapes around me. You'll see that insects, especially beetles is a big favorite of mine. But also objects like seed pods, flowers and plants inspire me in my creative environment. As most artists I go through faces and I make what comes natural to me, at the same time as I try to challange myself by learning new techniques and try to go out of my comfort zone as often as I have a new exiting idea.
